Ruckus: “a disturbance or commotion”, says the dictionary. My first thought about this week’s Illustration Friday’s theme was that Ruckus would make a great cat name. I imagined an image full of destroyed carpets, knocked down plants, and other pecadillos cat owners know too well, but finally went for a simple portrait and the very traditional image of a cathandled ball of yarn. Does Ruckus look angelic or sarcastic? Probably a mix of both. Nice fiber art, Ruckus.
