How I tried to modernize boring drawings of San Francisco houses

How I tried to modernize boring drawings of San Francisco houses

Is it Thursday already? That was fast! So, about my new 2015 project: every Thursday, I’ll post here an illustration, a pattern, or something graphic design-y (I’ve been using the invented word “graphillu” in my personal files for years to encompass all those categories). Unlike my…

A finished project, and the beginning of a new one. Happy 2015!

A finished project, and the beginning of a new one. Happy 2015!

Remember that project I mentioned, about posting 365 drawings in 2014? It’s done. IT’S DONE! I posted 365 drawings. Me. I still can’t believe it. More on this finished project and my brand new (weekly) 2015 project soon, but first, let’s share my first image of the…

Illustration Friday: Tail (remembering the Hale-Bopp comet)

This week’s Illustration Friday’s theme is “Tail”, and oddly enough, my first thought wasn’t about any kind of animal’s tail: I thought about a comet. Perhaps because someone sent me this amazing link not long before, about Scott Rinkenberger, a photographer who was lucky enough…

Montreal, with flying colors

Montreal, with flying colors

Last month, I went to Canada for the first time, for a few days in Montreal. So many things to love, over there!

The friendly people, who often greet you with a neutral “allo” to see if you’ll answer in french or in english. Who speak french with a delightful accent. And who use the metric system, in all its simple and logical glory. Oh, and make good bread, too (how is that possible? I thought the American Bread Problem had something to do with wheat varieties in North America?).
